RECENT WORK EXPERIENCES

January, 1986 to June, 1987 -- Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Resources at the University of Hawaii. During this period, I taught 3 sections of Group Leadership every semester.

July, 1987 to April, 1990 -- Assistant Extension Specialist in Community Leadership in the Department of Human Resources at the University of Hawaii.

May, 1990 to May, 1992 -- Assistant Extension Specialist in Agricultural Leadership in the Department of Human Resources at the University of Hawaii.

June, 1992 -- Promoted to Associate Extension Specialist in Agricultural Leadership

WORKSHOPS DESIGNED/FACILITATED OUTSIDE HAWAII

May 30-31, 1991 (Guam) and June 3-4, 1991 (Pohnpei) - Agricultural Development in the American Pacific (ADAP) Administrator's Workshop on, "Designing Successful Meetings" - co-trainer of workshop.

January 20-23, 1992 - Western Regional Development Center Workshop on, “Facilitating Strategic Management,” held in Seattle, Washington - was part of the team of trainers who designed the workshop.

May 18-20, 1992 - Oregon Start University Extension Service, “Strategic Planning Conference,” held in Salem, Oregon - facilitated large group sessions and supervised a team of facilitators.

May 21, 1992 - Oregon State University, Department of Horticulture, “The Use of Facilitation in an Academic Context,” held in Corvallis, Oregon - guest speaker for departmental seminar.

September 14-15, 1992 - USDA, “Facilitation Training,” held in Washington, D.C. - co-trainer for workshop.

August 30-31, 1995 - “Facilitating Strategic Thinking and Planning: The Two Day Retreat Format” held in Charters Towers, Queensland - trainer for workshop provided for Landcare and DPI personnel and landholders.
